Goulash Soup

My husband's recipe...

INGREDIENTS:
  • 600 g of pork
  • 250 g of mushrooms
  • 1 big onion
  • 500 g of potatoes
  • 1 pepper
  • 2 carrots
  • 5 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp of black ground pepper
  • 5 balls of allspice
  • 1 tsp of marjoram
  • 1-2 tsp of universal vegetable seasoning
  • 2 beef or pork cubs
  • olive oil
  • 100 g of tomato puree
  • cream (optionally)
  • goulash seasoning (I got it in Polish shop)


DESCRIPTION:
  1. Prepare big and high pot.Fry meat and cutted onion on minimum amount of olive oil. Add allspice,bay leaves,ground pepper and marjoram.Meat should be well done. 
  2. Add water(around 2 l), add cutted carrot,potatoes and mushrooms, beef or pork cubs and cook for about 20min. Add tomato puree and mix everything together. Then add goulash seasoning, and cutted pepper. Cook for another 30min. 
  3. Optionally you can add single cream(approx. 12-18% of fat) at the end.
