Apple Moons


INGREDIENTS:
  • 300 g of flour
  • 200 g of butter
  • 1 egg + 2 yolks
  • 3 tbsp of cream
  • 30 g of yeast ( I got them in Polish shop)
  • a bit of salt
  • 4-5 tbsp of caster sugar
  • 5 apples
  • cinamonn
  • white egg 
  • caster sugar to decorate
DESCRIPTION:
  1. Prepare a medium bowl and put the flour inside.,add yeast and butter cutted to very small pieces, egg and yolks,cream,salt and caster sugar.Knead everything together. If the dough is too sticky add mor flour. Wrap in kitchen foil and put in the fridge for an hour.
  2. Peel and cut the apples ,sprinkle with cinamonn.
  3. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin to receive quite thin (3-4mm) dough. Cut the circles with the glass.
  4. On each piece of dough put one piece of apple,fold into half and spread with white yolk and caster sugar.
  5. Bake in the oven preheated to 200C for about 15min.
